Accepting these terms

By downloading the app, opening an account or using the website, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the service.

Who may use it

The service is intended for users aged 16 and over. Below that age, use requires the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for updating them when they change.

Nutrition content and its limits

Nutritional values are based on menus and information published by businesses, plus our own completions and estimates where information is missing.

An actual dish may differ from what is shown — because of portion size, a recipe change, a supplier swap or a decision in the kitchen. We do not warrant absolute accuracy, the availability of any dish, or that a given menu is current at a given moment.

If you spot a wrong value, tell us and we will correct it.

The service is not medical advice

FitBis is an information tool only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment, or a personal nutrition plan.

Before any significant dietary change — and particularly with a medical condition, allergy, pregnancy, breastfeeding or medication — consult a qualified professional.

If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, always rely on the information provided by the business itself before ordering.

Permitted and prohibited use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for private, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, scrape or extract the database, reverse-engineer the service, interfere with its operation, circumvent security mechanisms, or use it in any unlawful way.

You may not use the service to harm other users, send abusive content, or impersonate any person or entity.

Account, password and security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity carried out through your account.

If you become aware of unauthorised use of your account, tell us immediately so we can act.

Subscriptions and payments

Basic use is free. Advanced capabilities may be offered as a paid subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play.

A subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Managing and cancelling it happens in your account settings in the store where it was purchased, not with us.

Refunds follow the policy of the store that processed the charge. A price change will be shown in advance and will apply only to a new billing period.

Intellectual property

The app, the website, the design, the code, the logo and the way the data is organised belong to FitBis and are protected by law.

Names of restaurants, chains and brands shown in the service belong to their owners and do not imply a partnership or endorsement unless explicitly stated.

Third-party services and businesses

The service displays information about dishes from independent businesses and may link to external ordering platforms.

We are not a party to the transaction between you and the business or the ordering platform, and we are not responsible for food quality, availability, price, delivery or complaint handling.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or discontinue capabilities, and update these terms.

A material change will be published on the site or in the app. Continuing to use the service after it takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damage arising from use of the service or reliance on the information in it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, harms other users, or threatens the integrity of the service.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of the Tel Aviv–Yafo district have exclusive jurisdiction.
